Bashar Jackson, also known by the screen name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th, 2020) was an American musician and songwriter. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah Jackson were his recorded labels. Pop Smoke gained acclaim as the Brooklyn drill producer by working together with UK producer 808Melo Axl Beats & Yoz Beatz. Welcome to the Party, the first single from the mixtape he released his debut album Meet the Woo released in July 2019was officially made available by the artist on April 19, 2019. Two remixes were released of the track Welcome to the Party in August 2019 with American Rapper Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta. Pop Smoke debuted his first mixtape Meet the Woo in 2019. In April 2019 Pop Smoke dropped the track Welcome to the Party, the song that set the tone for his debut mixtape. In August of this year two remixes of his song were released. The first remix featured Nicki Minaj while the second featured Skepta. The track was praised due to its use of UK drill production later commonly found throughout his discography. The collaborations between 808Melo and British drill manufacturer 808Melo was the inspiration behind this. Other songs with a cult following includes Mpr Flexin and Dior. Following the huge popularity in the release of Welcome to the Party, He collaborated with a variety of artists to create singles like War together with Lil Tjay or 100k on the Coupe starring Calboy. Gatti The final track on JackBoys album (2019), featuring JackBoys album (2019), by Scott and Cactus Jack's band members as well as JackBoys were released in December 2019.
